The myriagram (French: myriagramme) was a former French and metric unit of weight and mass, comprising 10000 grams (a myriad of grams). Although never as popular as the kilogram, it was employed during the 19th century as a substitute for the earlier avoirdupois quarters (quartiers) since 25 pounds was around 11000 grams.
