Count
It would be great to have an article about the walled villages of HK and the clans! olivier 09:43, 10 Oct 2003 (UTC)
It would be great if people add details to the wikis rather than making meaningless change just for a count of work.
- Do you think it is what I am doing? Check my history to get a sense of the MANY articles I have started and you might want to review your opinion. Besides, I would not need to do weeding if articles were written properly to begin with. olivier 06:56, 11 Oct 2003 (UTC)
- You could also sign your comments, that would be helpful. olivier 06:57, 11 Oct 2003 (UTC)
- This is a misunderstanding. Both changes in style and changes in information are necessary improvements to Wikipedia. Good information needs to be presented with proper organization were the reader to find it useful. Both you and olivier are improving Wikipedia in individual styles. --Menchi 08:04, 11 Oct 2003 (UTC)
- Thanks Menchi for cooling things down. I get ZERO reward for my "count of work", just the satisfaction to help and see a great project develop into something I like. In the future, if you are unhappy with MY work, thanks for letting me know directly: I have a talk page for this purpose. I have also posted a question on User talk:Fuzheado regarding the way his students are graded. I just want to understand if his students, to which User:Maggiemei belongs, as far as I understand, are graded for their "count of work". If this was the case, without willing to interfere with Fuzheado's teaching methods, that might be worth having a broader discussion for the design of future university projects (e.g. are students' incentives aligned with Wikipedia's best interest?). In any case, Fuzheado's experience with such projects will certainly be very valuable for the improvement of Wikipedia:School and university projects. olivier 08:33, 11 Oct 2003 (UTC)
What I wrote is not against you. I am sorry for poor english leads to misunderstanding. I just try to express my feelings. Sorry. Maggiemei
- OK. OK. Our conversation on my talk page helped me understand your point. My apologies for my epidermic reaction. olivier 15:49, 11 Oct 2003 (UTC)
Should Sha Tin District (which includes Sha Tin, Lek Yuen, Ma On Shan, Kau To, Ma Liu Shui) and Sha Tin New Town be separated in two articles, or as two sections in one article?
Suggestions
May be we can add a small section explainning why it got its name? And a photo showing the overview of ShaTin at present will be good also. Not to mention I live in there lol. --Lemontea 10:57, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Celebrities
Does William Hung really have to be mentioned? And I really think there are more celebrities than William Hung... and Hung's pretty shameful. --WongFeiHung 21:37, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Sha Tin District Council Logo.svg
File:Sha Tin District Council Logo.svg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a non-free use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
