Kyle Evans Gay is an American politician. She is a Democratic member of the Delaware Senate representing the 5th district.[1] She is the lieutenant governor-elect of Delaware following the 2024 Delaware lieutenant gubernatorial election, defeating Republican nominee Ruth Briggs King in the general election.[2]
Gay was born in Wilmington, Delaware, and grew up in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, graduating from Unionville High School. She then obtained a Bachelor's degree in international relations and history from Brown University and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.[3]
Gay lives in the Heatherbrooke neighborhood with her husband Olin and their two daughters.[3][4] She serves on the board of the Delaware Bar Foundation.[5]
