The 2028 United States Senate election in Ohio will be held on November 7, 2028, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the state of Ohio.

Incumbent one-term Republican Senator JD Vance was first elected in 2022. He was later nominated for vice president of the United States in the 2024 presidential election by Donald Trump, ultimately winning the vice presidency and the Senate presidency. Vance will vacate his seat on or before January 20, 2025, and governor Mike DeWine will appoint an interim successor until a special election is held in 2026.

The last time Democrats held this seat was in 1999, when Senator John Glenn retired and was succeeded by George Voinovich.
