I used to manually archive my talk page using the move process. This was done intermittently and once I feel like discussions on this page are done, but sometimes I may have made a mistake. Please see the most recent archive if you are looking for a discussion that you feel like needs to continue and post a new thread here: User talk:Koavf/Archive062. All conversations on this page had been done for 10 days or more prior to archiving.
If you did not see the editnotice for this page, please note that I am sitebanned on the English Wikipedia. I am an active member of other WMF wikis. If you want to reach out to me, please see me there or via email. If you reach out, I cannot be involved in any editing by proxy, discussion of issues, or other internal matters to the English Wikipedia and will not engage in them on-wiki or off-wiki. I may be allowed to return later, but that is not definite and it will not be soon from the time that I post this message, so please do not expect any response here or engagement with local topics.
CBAN
Hi Koavf, As you are expecting, I've enacted the community ban discussed at WP:AN (permalink to discussion). The exact wording: For persistent disruptive and combative behavior over a prolonged period, and exhausting the community's patience, Koavf is banned. This restriction may be appealed after one year, and no more than once every six months thereafter. Your recently posted notice on your user page seems like a great plan. If you'll permit me to editorialize a bit, I'm saddened that this level of self-awareness didn't kick in until now. In any case, good luck with your work on the other WMF projects. Perhaps in 1 to 2 years, we'll see a new improved Koavf back here. Floquenbeam (talk) 12:58, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
Sorry
Hey man sorry about the ban thing I feel kinda bad for you Theobegley2013 (talk) 00:45, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
If you ever come back, you must edit in a status quo way and can't be too controversial
I remember that in the past, Wikipedia was more open, but that doesn't seem to be true anymore. Examples of role model editors: User:ivanvector, User:Johnpacklambert (who became far more civil a couple years ago), and User:Ser Amantio de Nicolao. You don't have to be exactly like them, but it's good to look at their editing habits for reference. You have done lots of good work though. 2620:8D:8000:E017:294:CC0C:D7A7:B03 (talk) 16:12, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
The article Japan-Syria relations has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This redirect is a topic on its own and should have its own article, and I believe it is better to not direct anywhere at all than being directed to such a general topic.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
