The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (“District”) current LIMS by Thermo Scientific is called Sample Manager. It has been in use since 1996. The District is currently running Sample Manager version 10.2 which was last upgraded in 2014.
The District is seeking to upgrade the current LIMS from version SM 10.2 to SM 11.2 in order to increase functionality, accuracy, efficiency, and reduce Monitoring and Research (M&R) reliance on Information Technology support. At the core of this project is utilizing the “out of the box” functionality to the greatest extent possible, with minimal custom coding.
