Շաբաթվա հոդված նախագիծ

Preliminary results of the 2024 Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees elections
Hello all,
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2024 Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees election. Close to 6000 community members from more than 180 wiki projects have voted.
The following four candidates were the most voted:
While these candidates have been ranked through the vote, they still need to be appointed to the Board of Trustees. They need to pass a successful background check and meet the qualifications outlined in the Bylaws. New trustees will be appointed at the next Board meeting in December 2024.

Each year, typically from October through December, several of the movement’s committees seek new volunteers.

ԿԱԵ հանգույցի միկրոդրամաշնորհային ծրագիրը
ԿԱԵ հանգույցի միկրոդրամաշնորհային ծրագիրը դեռևս բաց է և հասանելի Կենտրոնական և Արևելյան Եվրոպայի Վիքիմեդիա համայնքների դիմումների համար։ 2024 թվականի հոկտեմբերից դիմումներ են ընդունվում նաև Կենտրոնական Ասիայի Վիքիմեդիա համայնքներից։
ԿԱԵ հանգույցի միկրոդրամաշնորհային ծրագիրը ֆինանսավորելու է 50-ից 500 եվրո արժողությամբ ծրագրեր։
Խնդրում ենք ծանոթանալ ծրագրի չափանիշներին և այլ մանրամասներին: Դիմումի հայտը հասանելի է Մետա հարթակում, անհրաժեշտ է պատասխանել ընդամենը մի քանի պարզ հարցերի։
Մինչև 2024 թվականի հոկտեմբեր ներկայացված դիմումների ցանկին կարող եք ծանոթանալ այստեղ․ այն կօգնի պատկերացում կազմել, թե այլ համայնքների ներկայացուցիչներն ինչպիսի ծրագրերի համար են ֆինանսավորման դիմել։

'Wikidata item' link is moving, finally.
Hello everyone, I previously wrote on the 27th September to advise that the Wikidata item sitelink will change places in the sidebar menu, moving from the General section into the In Other Projects section. The scheduled rollout date of 04.10.2024 was delayed due to a necessary request for Mobile/MinervaNeue skin. I am happy to inform that the global rollout can now proceed and will occur later today, 22.10.2024 at 15:00 UTC-2. Please let us know if you notice any problems or bugs after this change. CampaignEvents extension and the upcoming CEE Hub Office Hour
Some of you have already been in contact with the Event Registration tool, that we are using for our monthly Office Hours. As this tool is part of the wider CampaignEvents extension, we would dedicate our upcoming monthly Office Hour to this topic and during the call will be present as well Benedict Nnaemeka Udeh, who will have a short demo about this extension and will answer your questions.
The Office Hour will be held on 18th of November (Monday) at 17:00 CET. All the details about local time and how to register yourself are available on our Meta page.
In the meantime, you can check this Meta page about the extension, where you can find all the details about three key functionalities:
- Event Registration tool, allows campaign organizers to manage event registrations directly on the wiki. You can find instructions on how to use it here.
- Event list, global, automated list of events on the wikis. It can be accessed by going to SpecialːAllEvents.
- Invitation list, finding past contributors on the selected articles, that can be useful to be invited in the upcoming edit-a-thons, contests, campaigns, etc. You can view this video to see how it works.
