Criminal Management Information System (CMIS)Web Enhancement and Customization
To enhance its Criminal Management Information System (CMIS) by converting from the current two-tier client server Power Builder and Informix DB environment to a three-tier web enabled Java/Informix environment. Objective is to improve the CMIS enterprise application through lower cost of maintaining the application and improve reliability with a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). As the New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD) moves to this newer Web-enabled version of CMIS, the Department will expand the capabilities of the system and correctional operations.
