With so many LIMS products it seems that their web sites hardly even show a glimpse of the LIMS products. Many simply look like generic brochures. Cast your vote to tell vendors exactly what kind of information you want and how you want it.

06/18/2007 - Agilent Technologies Expands Informatics Portfolio with Electronic Notebook for Life Sciences, Chemical Analysis After Acquiring Kalabie from Klee Group

Agilent Technologies Inc. today announced it has acquired the Klee Group’s Kalabie Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN). The focus for this product, which is Agilent’s first electronic notebook, will be on the pharmaceutical market and some chemical applications.

06/15/2007 - FDA Releases New Software Tool to Help Keep Food Facilities Safe from Attack

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today released a new tool to help growers, packers, processors, manufacturers, warehousers, transporters, and retailers in the food industry determine the vulnerability of individual food facilities to biological, chemical, or radiological attack.

06/14/2007 - Argonne, in partnership with NETL, develops Web-based information for oil and gas producers

A new Internet-based information system that will help oil and gas producers find technical solutions to problems has been developed by researchers at the U.S. Department of Energy's Argonne National Laboratory with funding through the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), provided by the Office of Fossil Energy's Oil and Natural Gas Program.

06/14/2007 - New QSI Services for WinLIMS Rental Customers

QSI have introduced new customer support services for WinLIMS Rental. WinLIMS Rental has proved to be particularly popular with smaller laboratories and businesses for whom the outright purchase of a LIMS would be out of the question.
