| | Articles | I just can't decide if this is Good or Bad. Maybe you can. I was reading a blog today at Lab Soft News entitled "Reference Lab with a Money-Back Guarantee". It got me to thinking how far our industry has declined or from another point of view how far our industry has advanced. I just can't decide which has happened.
Using Benchmarking Metrics To Improve Laboratory Productivity Lab managers believe that their labs operate at near top efficiency within available resources; if they believed otherwise, they would change the system to make it so. However, this belief is based mostly upon intuition, informal observation, or other qualitative, and often flawed, information—obviously, every lab can’t be a top quartile performer.
Understanding ISO 17025 Today, more and more labs are seeking to be ISO 17025 accredited. While LIMS can play a large roll in this, the LIMS will not be the single issue. There are many factors to consider. I read a pretty good article recently on the topic.
