10/27/2016 - GSL Biotech Releases First Web-Based Molecular Biology Software Product

GSL Biotech announced today that the company has released its first web-based molecular biology product, SnapGene Server, a tool for biotech companies and nonprofit organizations to render interactive DNA maps on their websites. The technology also allows website visitors to input data from a variety of common file formats, and to generate interactive, annotated maps directly within their browsers.

10/17/2016 - Grupo Oncoclínicas Expands Treatment Capabilities with Varian Advanced Radiotherapy Equipment and Software

Varian Medical Systems (NYSE: VAR) today announced Grupo Oncoclínicas, the largest private cancer center network in Latin America, acquired thirteen medical linear accelerators, five TrueBeam™ and eight VitalBeam™, as part of a multi-phase program to expand the radiotherapy capabilities in its centers across Brazil.

DUE DECEMBER 2, 2016: Request for Proposals - Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

The San Antonio River Authority Regional Environmental Laboratory - The purpose of the RFP is to obtain a Laboratory Information Management System that functions efficiently and effectively for an environmental laboratory. The current Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) does not provide all the functionality needed by THE RIVER AUTHORITY. Since this LIMS was implemented, THE RIVER AUTHORITY REL has expanded its service offerings as well. As a result, THE RIVER AUTHORITY plans to replace its current LIMS.

DUE DECEMBER 7, 2016: Request for Proposals - Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

Lake County is seeking proposals from experienced Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) vendors for the purpose of replacing existing Aspen LIMS. As a result of this Request for Proposal (RFP) the County expects to receive and evaluate responses, select a single vendor and enter into an agreement for implementation of LIMS, including support, training, and maintenance.

Request for Proposal for an on-site, locally installed software-based Laboratory Information Management System (“LIMS”) solution for a modern drinking-water quality laboratory operation within the Chesterfield County Utilities Department, Chesterfield County, Virginia.

Clermont County Water Resources Department, Ohio - replacement of an aged laboratory information management system to better manage laboratory operations and related data.
