The Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS; www.slas.org) is proud to present SLAS2015 (www.slas2015.org), convening at the Walter E. 01/06/2015 - Agilent Technologies Introduces Tool to Enhance Integrity of Genomics Experiments

Agilent Technologies Inc. today announced the addition of an important new feature to its Genomic DNA ScreenTape assay-the DNA Integrity Number, or DIN, for assessing the integrity of genomic DNA. The new feature is designed to ensure the quality of genomics experiments, especially next-generation sequencing (NGS). It builds on Agilent's technology for assessing the integrity of RNA-the RNA Integrity Number, or RIN-which has become a market-leading standard.

12/31/2014 - Business Boom For Autoscribe

Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) specialist, Autoscribe Ltd, believes that its continued growth is due in no small part to the pricing structure and configurability of its flagship Matrix Gemini LIMS. In results announced for the most recent financial year, increased turnover in the UK was also accompanied by an increase in orders of more than 30% from the US office, with both operations reporting increased profitability.
