Agilent Technologies Inc. today announced it will introduce a new range of laboratory solutions at the KoreanSociety for Mass Spectrometry (KSMS) 2014, Aug. 20-22. 08/13/2014 - VolitionRx Invests in Laboratory Automation System to Increase Throughput Capacity for Large Clinical Trials

VolitionRx Limited, a life sciences company focused on developing blood-based diagnostic tests for different types of cancer, today announced it has installed a Tecan EVO200 automated liquid handling system in its Namur, Belgium laboratory. The Tecan EVO200 is a robot that will significantly accelerate VolitionRx’s large scale clinical studies by increasing the throughput and rate of blood sample analysis by up to five times that of the current manual methods.

08/13/2014 - Request for Demos - ACILT LIS

The Association of Public Health Laboratories is requesting interested LIMS providers to submit a demo of their LIMS to be provided to attendees at the 2nd Global LIS Course organized in Johannesburg from September 15 – 18, 2014. The LIS Course is co-presented by the African Center for Integrated Laboratory Training, the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2013, the first year the course was held, 18 countries participated, many of which are interested in implementing LIMS in their nations. Therefore an opportunity to view a LIMS demo at this forum is beneficial to both attendees and LIMS providers.

08/11/2014 - Invitation For Quote (Proposal) - PUBLIC HEALTH LAB INFORMATION SYSTEM

Santa Barbara County Public Health Department (SBCPHD) is issuing an RFP for a Public Health Lab Information System (LIS) to be used by laboratory staff to provide comprehensive Primary and Community Health care management.
