• 9/18/03 - New generation of ActiveApps offer more powerful and flexible spectral data processing

  Thermo Electron Corporation has announced the availability of a new series of add-on processing software applications, called ActiveApps, for its leading spectral data processing package, GRAMS/AI. Thermos ActiveApps extend the capabilities of GRAMS/AI to allow faster, more powerful processing and unrivalled flexibility. Based upon Microsoft s latest ActiveX technology, ActiveApps allow spectroscopists to benefit from performing advanced processing techniques, such as the transferal of data files between applications, a variety of multi-file operations, advanced quantitative analysis and for the prediction of spectral data files.

• 9/16/03 - Tripos Releases Industry-Leading SYBYL Suite of Applications on HP Integrity Servers and Itanium-Based Workstations

  ST. LOUIS - Sept. 10, 2003 - Tripos, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRPS), a leading provider of drug discovery informatics products and chemistry research, today announced the release of its industry-leading SYBYL suite of applications on industry-standard HP Integrity servers and Intel Itanium-based workstations running the HP-UX operating system. • 9/13/03 - Bio-Rad Announces New Software Technology for In-Silico ADME | Tox Modeling

  Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. (AMEX: BIO and BIO.B), a multinational manufacturer and distributor of life science research products and clinical diagnostics, announced today that their Informatics Division has introduced a new ADME/Tox Consensus Modeling Environment for use in in silico ADME/Tox screening.
