Vasco Da Gama is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language fantasy comedy film[1] written and directed by RG Krishnan. The film stars Nakkhul, K. S. Ravikumar, Vamsi Krishna along with Arthana Binu, Anandaraj and Munishkanth in supporting roles. The film was released on 2 August 2024 to negative reviews.[2]

Production
The entire shooting was completed on 1 May 2023.[3] The film was produced by DATO’ B. Subaskaran under the banner of 5656 Production.[4] The cinematography was done by N.S. Sathish Kumar[5] while editing was handled by Tamil Kumaran and music composed by Arun NV.[6]
Reception
Abhinav Subramanian of The Times of India gave it two out of five stars and wrote, "In its quest to turn the world upside down, Vasco Da Gama only manages to capsize itself, leaving audiences high and dry."[7] A critic from ABP Nadu rated the film two out of five stars and wrote that the director didn't use the star cast properly.[8]
